Amal Miami pays homage to Khabouth’s Lebanese heritage, offering an upscale dining experience that showcases authentic Lebanese cuisine.“As a native of Beirut, I take immense pride in incorporating our rich traditions of hospitality, warmth, and a sense of belonging into the dining experience at Amal,” says Charles Khabouth, the CEO and Founder of INK Entertainment Group. “Lebanese food and culture are all about savoring a meal in a welcoming atmosphere, where guests are treated like family. I am eagerly looking forward to extending this warm embrace to the Coconut Grove community.”The menu at Amal Miami is curated by renowned chef Wissam Baki, who has previously worked at the InterContinental in Beirut. Each dish and handcrafted drink is exquisitely presented and worthy of being showcased on social media platforms. The menu features shareable plates that reflect the essence of Lebanese culture, including delectable dips such as hummus and baba ghanouj, refreshing salads, flavorful skewers, succulent lamb and seafood dishes, as well as innovative twists on traditional Lebanese recipes.Since its opening on May 24, Amal Miami has been receiving rave reviews. Yelp user Rafael enthusiastically shares, “When you typically think of Lebanese cuisine, you might envision curry. However, my experience at Amal left me speechless as I explored a variety of dishes I never thought I would enjoy, such as eggplant and cauliflower. The food is truly exceptional, and the service is outstanding. Amal is destined to become the hottest restaurant in the Grove.”The ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely stunning. We were captivated by the sandy interiors adorned with earthy tones like rose and terracotta. To infuse a touch of Miami, they have tastefully incorporated small palm trees throughout the space. Honestly, we wouldn’t mind if our own house looked as beautiful as this. The combination of aesthetics and delicious food makes it a place we could easily call home.Among the dishes we’ve tried so far (and trust us, we’ll definitely be returning for more), a few stand out as our favorites. The warm hummus served with beef tenderloin, pomegranate, and roasted pine nuts is a delightful blend of flavors. We also highly recommend the beef kibbeh, served on a bed of refreshing cucumber yogurt. Another highlight is the monk salad, which offers a perfect balance of sweetness and freshness with its roasted eggplant, capsicum peppers, parsley, and pomegranate garlic emulsion.Cauliflower is a common item on menus, but the one at Amal is truly exceptional. Served with a green tahini sauce, Hawaij spice blend, and feta crumble, it surpasses our expectations. As for the main dish, we can’t resist the full-fried fish accompanied by a delectable parsley tahini sauce. For dessert, we highly recommend sharing the kanafeh, a sweet and cheesy treat infused with rose water. And if you’re looking for a truly unique and enjoyable experience, try the mistkeh ice cream, topped with pistachios and traditional Middle Eastern cotton candy called Ghazl el Banet. The combination of textures will leave you amazed and satisfied.Overall, the combination of the stunning ambiance and fresh, flavorful dishes at Amal Miami is truly a winning combination. It’s a place where you can indulge in both visual and gastronomic delights. If you’re seeking a remarkable dining experience to impress your friends, family, or a special someone, be sure to visit the rooftop bar at Amal Miami. Here, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the bay before indulging in a sumptuous feast. Amal is currently open for happy hour and dinner every day of the week and is located at 3480 Main Highway in Coconut Grove. What's Your Reaction?
